Collection: Jessalyn Brooks
Los Angeles based fine artist and jazz-singer Jessalyn Brooks creates distinctive, strong silhouettes of the female form. Drawing inspiration from the geometric lines of Cubism, she works out of the same studio she's lived in for ten years, using oil on canvas, or pencil on paper to incorporate elements of passion, the dualities of creation, and her own vision of women's bodies. "Symbol, beauty, romance, heroism, death, duality, joy, desire—these are all central in art and creation," she says.
