コレクション: Yuriko Iyanaga

Born in 1991 in Kanagawa Prefecture, Yuriko Iyanaga completed her Master's degree in Oil Painting at Kyoto City University of Arts in 2018. From a young age, she has been creating art digitally on a computer, focusing on capturing textures unique to digital paintings.

Currently, Yuriko directs her attention to the presence of electronic circuits and the inherent qualities of monitors, experimenting with combining these elements with other materials in a collage-like fashion.

In January 2019, she was awarded the Yomiuri Shimbun Prize at the "not here but here (lf#5)" exhibition during Kyoto Art for Tomorrow 2019, a showcase of emerging talent in Kyoto Prefecture.

Her notable solo exhibitions include "where are you? where am i," held at YEBISU ART LABO, Aichi, in 2018, "digital paintings" at Gallery Yure, Kyoto, in 2018, and "IMG://shape/weightless/" at KUNST ARZT, Kyoto, in 2021.

Yuriko has also participated in group exhibitions such as the SAGA University Oil Painting Laboratory Exhibition "Thinking Gaze 2018" at MEISEI, Kyoto, "Kyoto Art for Tomorrow 2019 ―Kyoto Prefecture Emerging Artists Exhibition―" at the Kyoto Cultural Museum, Kyoto, in 2019, and "Beyond Omiya Open Studio" at STUDIO Shibu Omiya, Kyoto, in 2019.
