Born in Mie Prefecture in 1986, he graduated from the Sculpture Department of Musashino Art University in 2011.

He creates large-scale sculptures and installations using floral-patterned blankets common in Japanese households during the post-war economic boom. By juxtaposing these patterns with kitsch, his installations evoke a strong visual impact, highlighting Japan's complex feelings towards Western culture. He aims to elevate the inherent value and cultural significance of Japanese objects. One of his notable works, "Suit" (2017), features him photographed in a suit made of floral blankets.

In addition to exhibitions, he has contributed to the music video for YUKI's "My Lovely Ghost" and the short film "Kaguya by Gucci" with his artwork.
